Staying strong through member support

As we end our fiscal year, we have nearly 290 paid members. Our recent membership drive has already added 18 new members to the MWA family for the 2010-2011 fiscal year that began on May 1.

MWA Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Megunticook Watershed Association will be held at 7 p.m., Tuesday, July 13 at Camp Bishopswood just off Route 105 in Hope. There will be a guest speaker, committee reports and updates on the health of our waters. For additional information, call Ken at 207-446-4243.

History of the Megunticook Watershed Association

On September 23, 1969, after filing papers with the Knox County Registry of Deeds, the Megunticook Lake Association became a legal entity. This was after an organizational meeting on August 27, 1969 that was held at the Legion Hall in Camden.
